At Rowan Food and Biomass Engineering, we’ve long worked with Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plants, using our Dominator Depackaging machine to effectively and efficiently separate food waste from non-organic material, ahead on onward processing.  By removing outer packaging, we’re proud to support the reuse of this waste to produce energy.

But that’s not enough.  We want to ensure that the organic ‘soup’ outputted from the Dominator is as pure as it can be, to optimise both environmental and commercial outcomes for our customers.  It’s the right thing to do.

And it’s paid off! We’re extremely proud to share that independent laboratory testing conducted by Alfred H Knight found that the organic soup from samples of depackaged food waste processed through the Dominator Depackaging machine were 99.939% pure.  You can read more here, and here.
